In 1914, Hill was framed for murder in Utah and executed by firing squad. His final telegram? “Don’t waste any time mourning. Organize!” It was the perfect exit line: defiant, sharp, and eternal. Hill’s blood wrote a ballad that still echoes in labor struggles today.
